The preface of this night
Brought winds that seemed so kind
But they say that most violet skies
Burn before pretty nights
And so suddenly
We're all casualties
From this fear that breeds
It will not let us breathe
From uncertainty
I'm lost beneath the nightfall
But divinity
Drew me a path from stars
Like butterflies of clarity
People scurry home to flee
Scared of what the unknown brings
But in their panic, could not see
Beyond the chaos, there is peace
'Cause so suddenly
Beauty blasts the scene
Spreads across the street
For all our eyes to see

Once trapped me in the nightfall
But divinity

These butterflies of clarity
So clarity, come and smother me
Comfort me with those wings that mend
